Day 1, Saturday 06 October 2018 Depart Brisbane 11:00AM – Arrive Norfolk 2:15PM/Dinner at Castaway Hotel
Please be at Brisbane International Airport at least 2 hours prior to your departure flight. On arrival you need to collect your checked luggage and clear customs and immigration. Once in the main terminal you will be met by our local ground operator – Pinetree Tours and transferred to the Castaway Hotel. You will also be met by your local Norfolk Island tour escort. Castaway is a centrally located boutique hotel that offers a warm welcome. Modern, newly refurbished rooms and great bar and restaurant. Tonight’s welcome dinner will be at your hotel.
Day 2, Sunday 07 October 2018 (B, D) Half Day Orientation Tour/Murder Mystery Dinner

Day 3, Monday 08 October 2018 (B, D) Norfolk Island A & H Show (Public Holiday)/Progressive Dinner
At around lunch time today we will transfer to the Norfolk Island Agricultural and Horticultural Show in the Bi-Centennial Complex in Burnt Pine. The Show has been an annual event on Norfolk since 1860. Whilst a very small Show this annual event displays a great array of local produce, handicrafts (including local handicrafts), arts and craft. A transfer back to the hotel will be provided however you may decide to take a stroll at leisure when you are ready. Lunch today is own arrangements and is available at the Show. Enjoy a 3-course meal progressing to different Norfolk Island family homes. A fun night and a great way to meet the local people and sample some of the Island dishes.
Day 4, Tuesday 09 October 2018 (B, L) Tin A Aii Tour/Picnic Lunch
Tin-a-Aii in the Norfolk language means to look at beautiful things. On this tour Pinetree Tours will take you to some of the island’s scenic spots and you’ll want to have your camera ready. From the panoramic views from Mt Pitt to Captain Cook Memorial - the landing place of Captain Cook and now part of the National Park. Beautiful sea views, towering pines and a stop for morning tea in a scenic location. At the conclusion of the tour today enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic location. The best location will be chosen on the day. The afternoon is at leisure today and dinner tonight is own arrangements.
Day 5, Wednesday 10 October 2018 (B, D) Breakfast Bush Walk/ Island 4WD Tour/Dinner at Castaway
This morning take your choice of a stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument. If you prefer not to rise early and bush walk you’ll be picked up a little later and taken to join the walkers at Anson Bay as they return from their walk and where you’ll all enjoy a delicious breakfast barbecue on the clifftop and returning to your hotel mid-morning. Lunch today is own arrangements. This afternoon you’ll love this exciting 3-hour tour to parts of Norfolk only accessible by 4WD. Climb aboard the 18 seater 4 x 4 bus for a state of the art Norfolk experience. Enjoy air-conditioned comfort and safety as you enjoy authentic insights into Norfolk’s unexplored valleys, ridges, coastlines and private properties. Don’t expect a rough race through the scrub. Day 6, Thursday 11 October 2018 (B, D) Behind the Hedges Tour/Island Fish Fry/Sound and Light Show
This morning travel to Anson Bay to visit a small hobby farm. Close by see a pottery demonstration and browse the Cottage Pottery shop. After a delicious morning tea at a scenic location, visit a beautiful private and commercial garden that supplies our local florists. Then it’s off to a private property to see one of Norfolk’s biggest banyan trees. Lunch today is own arrangements and the afternoon is at leisure. Late this afternoon enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread & fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts & tea or coffee. Enjoy some local entertainment, on our exclusive private property ‘Orn Daa Cliff’ on Norfolk’s western coastline. Nightfall at Kingston brings a different mood to the Convict Settlement. The stillness and the stars are there just as they were before settlers arrived in 1788. However, with the dramatic use of real life sounds, theatrical lighting and costumed actors, the stillness is broken as Pinetree Tours takes you through the horrifying decades of Norfolk Island’s convict era.
Day 7, Friday 12 October 2018 (B,D) Greenfingers Tour/Farewell Diner
This morning’s tour features some of the Island’s loveliest gardens. Throughout the morning you will visit a nursery owned and operated by a young Norfolk Islander. You will also view the hydroponics. Later visit a gorgeous private garden with a spectacular view. Morning tea is served in a scenic location. Lunch today is own arrangements and the afternoon is at leisure. Tonight’s 2 course Farewell Dinner will be at a local hotel or at one of Norfolk’s great restaurants.
Day 8, Saturday 13 October 2018 (B) Depart Norfolk 3:30PM – Arrive Brisbane 5:10PM
Full buffet breakfast is served at your hotel. Standard checkout time applies. Pinetree Tours will collect you and transfer you to the Norfolk Airport in time for your departure flight.
