TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. The promoter is Go See Touring Australian Travel Agent's Licence No. 4/9351 and ABN 72122522276 of 13/71 Racecourse Rd, Ascot, QLD, 4007. PH (07) 3868 4760.
  3. The promotion commences at 9.00am (AEDT) 20 May, 2009 and closes at 5.00pm (AEDT) on 19 July, 2009.
  4. One Entry per person only and entrant must be registered for the MS Brissie to the Bay Bike Ride, 19 July, 2009. Entry is restricted to persons over the age of 18 years.
  5. Entry is open only to Australian residents (Eligible Entrants), excluding directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and registered travel companions of employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate.
  6. Entry is accepted via the online web form at www.goseetouring.com or on the competition page provided at MS Brissie to the Bay venue, Sunday 19 July, 2009.
  7. The Promoter is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any communications network or any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entry whether due to error, transmission interruption or otherwise.
  8. A judge will be appointed by the Promoter to draw a winner from Eligible Entrants' entries.
  9. The judging will take place midday Wednesday 22 July 2009 at MS QLD, 286 Gladstone Road, Dutton Park, Qld, 4102. The decision of the judge is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. The winner will be notified via e-mail and/or phone by 5.00pm, Wednesday 22 July 2009.
  11. There will be one prize. The maximum total prize value is approximately A$3,200 based on the recommended retail value at the time of. The total prize value may vary and the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize.
  12. The prize consists of:
    1. Return economy airfare Brisbane to Kota Kinabalu with Royal Brunei Airlines
    2. All pre-paid taxes
    3. Return airport/hotel transfers and coach transfers whilst on tour
    4. Breakfast, lunch, & dinner daily
    5. Transport of bike on Royal Brunei Airlines up to 20kg inclusive of luggage
    6. All tours and bike rides
    7. Accommodation as per itinerary
  13. The prize flight bookings must be made and ticketed by Royal Brunei Airlines. The accommodation, transfers and tours must be made and confirmed by Go See Touring. Contact details to make all bookings will be provided to the prize-winner upon confirmation of winning. Bookings must be made at least 21 days prior to departure, but cannot be confirmed more than 30 days before departure. Travel must take place between the identified cities via normal routing (as identified by the Royal Brunei Airlines booking agent).
  14. The prize does not include travel to or from Brisbane, travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, spending money, packing of bikes for air transport, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Any applicable taxes/surcharges/fees relating to flights are included as part of the prize.
  15. The winner will not accrue Royal Skies Points points on the prize travel or accommodation and cannot use Royal Skies Points points or cash to upgrade prize travel or accommodation. Travel is valid on Royal Brunei Airlines direct services only, and travel is not available on codeshare services or regional services operated by Royal Brunei Airlines subsidiaries. Prize travel can not be upgraded. All prize travel will be subject to the Royal Brunei Airlines General Conditions of Carriage. If there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and the Royal Brunei Airlines General Conditions of Carriage, the Royal Brunei Airlines General Conditions of Carriage will apply to the extent of the inconsistency.
  16. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The prize is not refundable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. There can be no changes made to travel arrangements once tickets are issued. Each element of the prize may only be used as stated in paragraph 12. Any element of the prize that is unused will be forfeited and no compensation will be paid in lieu of that element of the prize.
  17. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion. The Promoter will advise the winner of any changes of date for the prize or cancellation of the event.
  18. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and its respective officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to award the prize in a redraw if the winner is unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or forfeits the prize.
  20. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and MS QLD. The name and photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize. Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any prizes. Without limiting the foregoing, entrants' personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Statement.
